Maria in Corel

Surprisingly enough, THIS was my best work. I didn't think I did a very good job on this, but the peoplhas more thought otherwise. So far, this drawing has more views than ANY of my others. That leaves me feeling good, especially knowing that this was the first painting I ever did in Corel, and I did this as soon as I un-boxed my tablet. So I guess it does make sense for this to be my most prized possession. =)

Fine whatever, now get to work!

Ok, I have been going through a couple of big epiphanies. One being that I am a HUGE procrastinator. Another is that I can't live up to some promises I kept. But these are only because of the circumstances I am under. Right now, I found myself not having time to draw and write storyboards for the Valve parody OR Bridgeboro Tech.

So i decided to POSTPONE the projects.

"What?"

Yeah, I'm postponing them; I have too much to work on right now, and I don't have time to submit these projects in my alleged deadline.

However, since I'm working in the field of Architecture/Graphic design, I figured I just screw around with the programs in CS4 (yeah, I actually BOUGHT it) and submit those. Just to make sure I haven't forgotten about you guys. After all the last time I even submitted a Journal Entry was in September (before I got like a million essays handed to me).

So, don't worry, although I completely blew off those projects, I'm not throwing them in the trash. I'm still working on them, there just not top priority as of today. I'll be working with Windows 7, creating things in CS4, and hopefully I'll have a website to put this stuff in. Pipe dreams I know.

New here, but always wanted to join. I never did cause I wasn't into drawing, and when I was, I kinda sucked. But now I'm kinda getting better.


I love art and I'm in love with Flash. Seriously if they managed to rid the world of Flash animation, i would be dead. I'm getting a Wacom Tablet soon, some good old Creative Suite 4, and I hope to make flash cartoons with it too so I can share my humor and art with you guys as so many others did.

=UPDATE=

Just got my Wacom Tablet!!! I love this tablet, it's one of the best artistic tools I have ever used. I'm gonna be showing off some of my novice (for now) drawing skills for your viewing pleasure. Also, still working on the Craig miniseries, although I keep hitting roadblocks. I'll work it out eventually.

Not into TV anymore. So many people good and funny alike abandoned it, leaving it to whoever mainstream loser can pick up and distort until you can't take anymore of MTV's "new music lineup, featuring The Real World from 9-5"........ Ok sorry but the rant, but I like anything original, cause in all honesty, the humor comes from you. Any Flash or Youtube video posted by average people can back me up on that one. Keep up the laughs and beat the mainstream bastards!

Lastly, not a Mac person...don't mean to be throwing it there like that, but Mac's never got me, So I use PC. Windows 7 is coming out and if you're a PC guy like me, you should probably get it. I do love Mac's though and Snow Leopard is also being released soon so pick that up too Apple Lovers. Happy Deviating =D
